Town of Kinder will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the following surplus property:

• 1994-1995 26’ Pontoon Harvester (No motor, used for parts)

• 26’ Harvester with Yanmar motor

Items may be viewed at Town of Kinder Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1145 Nielsen Rd., Kinder, Louisiana or contact the Town Clerk at traci.fontenot@townofkinder.com to request pictures of the items.

Both items are in need of repair. The sale of such surplus property is “where is” and “as is” and without warranty whatsoever.  

The successful bidder shall be required to remove the surplus property from the Town’s property at bidder’s sole expense within fifteen (15) days after the date of closing of the sale and risk of loss shall be on the successful bidder after closing of the sale.

Sealed bids shall be accepted during regular business hours at the office of Town Clerk located at 333 N. 8^th Street, Kinder, Louisiana until 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2023. The name and contact information for the bidder shall be placed both upon the bid and upon the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid.
